"Not again” was what i blurted out when i got the news of the communal discord in mangalore. Mangalore the coastal town in Karnataka has always known to be a very quiet place .Any violence or riots in the country wouldn’t effect the serenity of this place.But with the increasing development and modernisation ,the radical groups with the sense of insecurity have tried to create a superfluous presence among us .It just does not stop there ,they authenticate their activities in the name of god.Well one needs to ask them ,if, they are well versed with the sacred scriptures and the holy books?But one need not wait for an answer, because the answer is crystal clear ..NO.... they impose their own radical views as that of their religion and seek out vengeance on the other community for inane reasons and most of the time without any reasons.The respective communities want to show their superiority and end up doing daft activities, for which the innocent one s pay a heavy price.
The Almighty one has never advocated violence nor hatred.He said love all like your own.e compassionate , kind , magnanimous to one another. If one believes that each religion has a different god,and if the respective gods haven’t had any conflict then why should their men fracas with one another ?
Lets imagine what the consequences would be if there was no religion and if all followed the way of life i.e humanity. There would be no insecurity amomg the men about whose god is greater , mightier and which religion is virtuous which would have made this a better and harmonious palce to live in.So i have always been wondering why don’t we pray to The One Supreme Power who does not necessarily have a name or form.. So why do we need religion to show us the Existence of god ?
Sadly that s the case in our society. The search for the answers led us to form religions. and now in the name of religions and god our society is in shambles. Communal disharmony has now taken different names in itself. Love jihad being just a myth has caused so much disharmony. It wont be long before we have the anti social elements using, communal disharmony as their blood and religion.
